KABALE: 410 Graduates to Receive Degrees at Bishop Barham University


KABALE – A cohort of 410 students is poised to celebrate their graduation during the inaugural segment of the 24th Graduation at Bishop Barham University College in Kabale District tomorrow.

The University Communications Officer Simon Turyakira discloses the honor of hosting the graduation ceremony to the distinguished University Chancellor, the Most Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, who concurrently serves as the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Uganda. The event will unfold at the scenic St Peter’s Cathedral grounds in Rugarama, northern Division of Kabale Municipality.

Turyakira further highlights that the eminent Chief Guest for the ceremony will be Professor Ezra Suruma, the Chancellor of Makerere University. Notably, among the graduating class, 214 students (52%) are male, while 198 students (48%) are female.

Remarkably, a commendable seven male students have earned the prestigious First Class honors. Leading the cohort is Believe Niwagaba, who secured the top spot with a remarkable CGPA of 4.58 in his pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts with Education.
