Minister Musasizi Warns Government School Head Teachers Against Charging Fees as Schools Reopen

KABALE – The State Minister for Finance (General Duties) Henry Musasizi has cautioned school head teachers in Government schools against charging fees as schools reopen.

Minister Musasizi stressed the importance of adhering to government policies, specifically the Universal Primary Education (UPE) and Universal Secondary Education (USE) programs, ensuring free education in public schools.

Minister Musasizi who doubles as the Rubanda East Member of Parlianment believes this approach will alleviate financial burdens on parents sending their children to government schools.

Minister Musasizi was today addressing Christians at St. Peter’s Cathedral Church Rugarama in Northern Division of Kabale Municipality. During the service Councillor Obed Mutatina Kitabutuka of Bubaare town council in Rubanda District baptized his twins.

The Vicar of St. Peter’s Cathedral Church Rugarama, Rev Daniel Byamukama, led the service, where Moreen Mayanja as the days preacher urged Christians to avoid practices of intrigue while serving the Lord.
