The bishop of Diocese of Kigezi, the Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna has applauded the Kabale district Resident commissioner Godfrey Nyakahuma for his great efforts to fight corruption and ensuring security in Kabale district and the country at large.
This was contained in his message delivered to RDC Nyakahuma on Thursday by the Diocese of Kigezi secretary Rev Amos Tweteise at Mbarara referral hospital where he is nursing injuries, he sustained during an accident along Ishaka-Kasese road at Rutoto hill at Omunkombe in Rubirizi district as he was driving to his home area in Fort Portal.
Bishop Akanjuna said that ever since Godfrey Nyakahuma assumed the Office of Resident District Commissioner in Kabale district, much effort has been done to enhance security, peace and make people have freedom which he said is a credit to him.
While speaking to www.thesourceug.com, RDC Nyakahuma thanked Bishop Akanjuna for his tremendous prayers and love towards his sickness.
He revealed that he is improving and hopping to get better and thanked those praying for him to get healed, spared time to check on him through different means through phone call, message and visiting him physically and has requested people to keep him in prayers.
Rev. Amon Tweteise, Diocesan secretary was a companied by Can. Johnson Baryantuma Munono, head of laity in diocese of Kigezi and Can Enock Kazooba, the mayor Lyakarimira town council.
